BD reminded us a month or so back that it had been a year since we’d been to Domo, a faboo rustic Japanese restaurant just SW of downtown.  It’s taken a couple of tries, but we all finally met up there last night — including Katherine.

I reviewed the last visit, and it was pretty much the same.  I had a steak/chicken/pork teriyaki plate — very large amount of food, though I found the teriyaki a bit bland.  I went for a fork this time, but Katherine stuck it out with chopsticks (and helper clip).  She had a chicken teriyaki on udon noodle pot, and just loved it, even the seaweed.  BD and Margie, of course, were busy slurping sushi.

We went early (met at about 6 — and, yes, we should have taken the light rail and walked the quarter mile to the restaurant from the 10th-&-Osage station), so it was uncrowded, but it was packed by the time we left.  We didn’t order any starters, so there was a much smaller gap between ordering and our food arriving, which left only minimal time to watch the Aikido dojo in actoin, but we were able to tour the gardens and museum afer our meal.

Good times.
