Yes, it’s that time once again to be angsting about Christmas Preparations!
Although, to be honest, we are massively ahead of the game, vs. last year.
- Christmas lists: I updated my Amazon list a while back, and did the same for Katherine.
- Christmas decor: This all went up Thanksgiving weekend, thanks to the help and encouragement of Jim & Ginger. Though, having now gotten a glimpse at their Christmas decor challenges, I realize we’re chump change in comparison.
- Christmas cards: Got those all written off and mostly mailed before last weekend, and the last batch went out yesterday. At this point, the only mailing I anticipate doing is filling in for folks who send us cards whom we didn’t (two today, dagnabbit).
- Christmas gifts: We have the list about 80% done — but nothing catalog-wise ordered yet. A must-do for this weekend.
Beyond that, all our tickets are purchased, most of our plans are made, and by and large feeling a lot more comfortable than an obsessive listing like this would imply.
