  1. Russell has been doing some really great work, so don’t immediately discount it!

    With all the things Torchwood digs up there’s GOT to be a lot more out there to discover. SciFi’s also unlikely to air a goody-goody gumdrops type show. The kids aren’t their audience . . . .older geeks like us are! =)

    Frankly I expected to hate Torchwood and have been consistantly pleased with the depth of the narrative.

  2. I’m not discounting or dismissing it, but my expectation level is not high. That said, I’m planning on watching it for a bit, and would not be shocked to be pleasantly surprised.
