Got a dusting of snow last night in the Denver area. Down where we are, it was just enough to frost the non-pavement areas, but as I started up the hill on 470 above Morrison, the roadway started showing more and more, so that the interchange and I70 stretch were a bit crunchy-slushier than I like.

Supposed to be sunny and in the 40s again today, so I expect it will be nothing but bunches of wet on the way home, which is just fine by me. And temps are supposed to get up into the low 60s by the end of the week.

Colorado mountains are at 130% average snowpack, which is faboo news for summer water supplies, though less so for those folks in areas who have been hit by historic levels of snow. I don’t feel like we’ve gotten as much snow as usual down here, but I’m missing whatever happened in the two weeks we were away over the holidays — and, of course, March tends to be our snowiest month.
