Yes, they do. It’s quite … distracting.

The UW Hospital in Madison has a similar door, and they occasionally add decor in that dead space portion as well! It’s a really nifty solution to having ADA accessible automatic doors and keeping an airlock in place to maintain building heat/cooling.

No, it’s a spiffy invention (and a huuuuuuge space within the revolving door). It’s just the decor is kind of weird to see.

There are a couple of revolving doors in New York like that, but the small spaces are open and used the same as the large ones.

J D #Vance is trying to draw a weird line between "public policy" and "matters of #morality," claiming that the #Pope should stick to his lane in only commenting about the latter.

Given that the Right has insisted that *all* public policy should be driven by their morality for as long as I can remember, and that #Trump and his minions have constantly painted the #Iran war as blessed by God, Vance's suggestion doesn't even pass the laugh test.
