SATURDAY: Family fun day. We went to the paint-your-own-ceramics place over by the Tattered Cover (Highlands Ranch edition), and spent an appalling sum doing just that (though I think everyone’s efforts will be very cool). (That particular place — Arts on Fire — has higher per-piece costs than Hot Pots in Littleton, but the latter charges a studio fee. Arts on Fire also has fused glass materials, which I want to try, but which requires an appointment.)
We then wandered over to Littleton to see if we could get into the Melting Pot early without a reservation. No, but we could get in at 9 p.m. So we went off to Sweet Tomatoes instead (it was Katherine’s turn to pick), then to Target to pick up a new swim suit for Kitten for the next day.
Katherine and I watched The Princess Bride (at her suggestion), then after she was in bed I played a little CoH, then watched Batman Begins.
SUNDAY: Church. Brunch. Planting of plants. Taking of shower. Holding of party. Blogging of this.
Whew. I think I’m ready for another weekend. Fortunately, the next one is a long one (and my parents will be visiting, huzzah.)
Better make sure that that isn’t a copywritten image. ;P
