Prying Outlook from my apprehensive fingers

So I’ve been accepted into the company pilot of using GMail and other Google apps for day-to-day work, instead of Microsoft Outlook and (to a lesser degree) Office. 

I’m both excited and fairly certain I’m going to regret this. 

One question that comes to mind is how it will integrate into my current Google usage, e.g., on my Blackberry, where I have both the BB mail synced to Exchange and a GMail client for my personal mail. Will I be able to use both? Will I have to login/out to two IDs? Ditto on the Calendar.
