The automatic generation of blogrolls via Google Reader (Settings > Folders and Tags > add a blogroll to your site) isn’t working. The problem is not in WP or this blog — the lists show up empty in Google Reader’s sample, too.
The underlying subscriptions are still there — and if you click on “Read More” in each blogroll it will take you to a page with the most recent posts from the folks in each blogroll. But listing those folks/sites is, for some reason, not working on the Google end.
Apologies to those who actualy use my blogroll. I have a ping into the Google help forums, and it appears to be a new, known, not-just-me problem.
Definitely not just you. My blogroll is similarly hosed.
Yeah, checking out the Google Reader support page, many people are Up in Arms.
Doesn’t affect me directly, but I do know some folks who actually use the blogroll.
See, this is nota ‘bug’. it is a new, unasked for and undocumented ‘feature!’ Rejoice!
After close to a week, Google’s finally responded.
What, they didn’t have an internet connection?
Oh, well — it’s not like I’m going to ask for my money back …
Unfrelled. Huzzah!
Woot and Huzzah!
Also, thank you for finding all the major issues for when the rest of the blogs are converted.
Heh.
Well, this one wasn’t a WordPress issue, it was a Google issue.
*shakes tiny fist* Darn you Google!
And gratz on getting it ironed out . . .
