- The problem with Twitter : The Island of Doubt – As someone who’s come reluctantly to the Twitterverse, I’d fully agree that Tweeting can’t replace Blogging — but that’s like saying the Short Story can’t replace the Novel, or that the Telephone can’t replace the Memorandum. They are different media with different strengths, weaknesses, and uses. Having just a single tool in your belt is a great way to make a lot of mediocre projects — but that doesn’t make hammers useless, nor mean there’s only one thing you can do with them.
