Was casting about for something to watch on TV the other day, and flipping through the free OnDemand stuff on Comcast, I ended up in BBC America — and a chance to watch a few eps of Coupling.
Damn, that (the UK version) was a funny show. I need to pull the disks out and start watching it again. Ignoring the fact that I haven’t the time to watch all the new stuff I want to.
If you have HBO, Flight Of The Conchords is absolutely hysterical…
That was one of the funniest shows ever, especially when “Jeff” was still on it.
I miss it- it was like ‘Freinds’, but for grown-ups.
Our local Borders was selling off their entire DVD and CD department recently, and one of the things I picked up was the complete series for 50% off — which made it a reasonable price. My wife and I have been slowly rewatching it over the last few weeks (we’re a few episodes into season 3). It’s been fun finding the bits that we still quote, connecting A plots to B plots, etc. And Solonor is right: Jeff in particular is absofragginglutely hysterical. “And there is no known cure.”
He actually gets his own WikiQuotes page ( http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Jeff_Murdock ).
More quote (in general) here. Need to take notes for WIST.

Coupling. Yet another reason to be excited about Steven Moffat taking over Doctor Who. 🙂
I spent waaay too much time reading those quotes. Which is silly, since I’ve got the DVDs in the next room.
