Is the CO beta only for preorders? The latest issue of PC Gamer had an ad indicating that I could register for the beta, but saw nothing about it on the site.
I don’t believe it is — I think pre-orders were given priorities to get onto the system (and on download priority), but I seem to recall that you didn’t need to pre-order.
Found out how to get the key. Downloaded, installed, and let it patch while at work. Got home and started it, only to get a version mismatch. Shut it down, let it patch again, and I can never connect to the server (at 2 AM!!!).
*sigh*
And I’m in! Whom should Avocet look for?
