Links (most recent first) that caught my eye, but did not warrant full-blown blog entries ….

  1. I have Marvel Super Heroes (Dave, do you remember the solo Captain America game I ran for you?) and Top Secret, and I had a “lite” version of Gangbusters, I think (probably came in an issue of Dragon magazine). I am proud (?) to admit that I also have Bullwinkle and Rocky, which I got not so much to play as to have as a novelty.

    1. Honestly, I don’t. I once had a copy of MSH, but got rid of it a long time ago. Not nearly “crunchy” enough for me, though I’d probably like it better now.

  2. I remember one Gen COn when I was @12 or so that I played in a Top Secret competition and was not only on the winning team, but also the top player for both figuring out that the villains had put sugar in our plane’s gastank AND how to survive in an arctic environment until help arrived!

I think I won a gift certificate to the TSR booth. Good times, good times!

  3. You were playing as Captain America. I don’t recall the details, but I think you were up against two villains. I do remember that things weren’t going well, because I had the Human Torch fly by and spot you so he could give you a hand. Probably not the best resolution for the situation. In retrospect, I should have had the baddies slip up.
