So Margie and I met down at the vet. The doc showed us x-rays of a “normal” cat, and then of Indy, and you can see how there’s a “kink” right where the L7 and S1 vertibrae join.
Anyway, he’s catheterized, which has made the bladder much more comfortable. He’s also on kitty pain meds, and so was very mellow, but enjoyed some extended kitty petting time. He’s staying overnight there, and we’ll see how he is tomorrow.
Those who are inclined to little kitty prayers, they would not be amiss.

Indy Kitteh update?
Have not heard from Vet yet.
Margie called vet; got through to receptionist, who says he’s doing well; we have a “go home consult” scheduled for late this afternoon.
