All my keyboards packed, I’m ready to go …

Well, NaNoWriMo starts tomorrow. I’ve taken extensive notes (and need to take more), but for the nonce I’m in decent shape. I have enough outlined for the beginning of the story to (I think) probably take far too long. Which is a great problem to have, of course.

The only new twist in the NaNoWriMo story, is that Katherine has opined she wants to give it a try. The actual story remains a secret from all but her parents, but we’ve gotten her all signed up on the Young Writers Program portion of the NaNoWriMo site. I’ve written more about it over on my writing blog, Doing Write.

That’s where I plan on doing most of my color commentary on my (and Kitten’s) NaNoWriMo efforts, so I’ve bumped the post alert for it up higher in the sidebar, to underneath the NaNoWriMo section, and updates there will also show up in my Twitter feed prefixed by “Doing Write.” I’ll probably have a progress graph over here, but if you want the full story of the pain, trials, and travails of life in NaNoWriMoLand, you’ll have to hop over there. And if you don’t care, you won’t have to read about it here. Much.

Wish me us luck!
