Hmmm. Okay, I think I’ve gotten the “constantly updating” thing fixed.
Test for tomorrow will be if I can do another post and have it catch the things I did tonight (Anti-Energy Drinks) past the above top of the list (Godfather of Spam). The way the plug-in ( http://www.cmurrayconsulting.com/software/google-reader-shared-wordpress/ ) works, via a shortcode, it’s dynamically generated … but clearly something creates bounds around beginning and ending values.
A few days of testing, and I can (if all works well) retire the current system.
Biggest issue: the system requires actually creating a post with the shortcode in it. That’s a manual step I don’t have to do now (which is annoying) though doing a regular post is in the development list for the plug-in. What are the ramifications of inadvertently skipping a day?
Okay, so I’m trying the “Recommended Reading” plug-in. Which, clearly, I need to tweak, format-wise, a bit further.
Also, via its shortcode, it seems to replicate everything, including additional things I create. Hrm. That’s not good.
