- Romantic dinner at Plantation Gardens, Kauai. Very good pupus and fish entrees. House drinks okay, but not faboo. Recommended. #
- Very nice (and pricey) after-dinner drinks at the Grand Hyatt, to wrap up our date night (and Kaua'i trip). Being w/ M makes it all magic. #
- Everything sherpaed to the airport, rental cars returned, boarding passes issued, security passed with no brouhaha. And now we sit for 2h. #
- Sad to leave the condo, tho we got a nice sunrise view fr the lanai before we left. I'll miss sound of the surf at night. #
- TSA here at Lihue (Kauai) were very polite, helpful, effective. M says she got a very thorough pat-down, but a quite considerate one. Nice. #
- For all my good-natured kvetching, this was a good trip. M and I will return some day (when she can get around a bit more easily 🙂 ). #

- To demonstrate my general cluelessness, I thought Honolulu (via which we arrived and departed) was on the Big Island. No, it's on Oahu. Duh. #

- And in Honolulu again. Saw Air Force One as we flew past Pearl Harbor, at the AFB/NAS there. Cool! #
- On the plane for LA. Margie's on her ownsome again at the bulkhead, unless she convinces her neighbor to go for an aisle seat 8 rows back. #
- Quiet, tired end to an interesting and enjoyable trip. Looking fwd to sifting through all the photos. Tonight, tomorrow in SoCal, then HOME. #
- Utterly full flight, but disinclined to accept a bump. :-). #
- If airlines enforced carry-on size rules, half the luggage coming on would be disqualified. Some folk are wildly selfish / oblivious. #
- Looking fwd to being HOME. Own bed, own food, own TV, own schedule. #
