So my brightshinynew Del Latitude E6400 for work has finally arrived and been imaged and dropped on my desk. Gently, of course.
More specs stuff later. My goal is, over the weekend, to turn it into My Machine — installing software on it (#1: Firefox), configuring and customizing it, so that I can start using it whole-hog on Monday.
So expect nattering posts about “here’s the software I’m putting on it” and “here’s my Firefox configuration (and my Chrome configuration, too”), etc.
