- Today It Starts! (Tomorrow It Ends!) One Night Vacation! The journey begins … well, when we're done with closet build-out. #
- Removed last brackets of K's old baby gates and spackled the holes. My little girl is all grown up (ish)! #
- Wrapping up packing for One Night Vacation – away we go … soon! #
- Margie reveals we are staying at the Hotel Monaco. Walk past it every day; look forward to it, once room ready. First lunch at Little India. #
- Little India buffet is all good, but the Tandoori Chicken is outstanding. Almost as good as the company (but less scintellating). #
- Hmmmm … Who would have thought the One Night Vacation would include shoe shopping? If she's happy, that's cool by me. #
- Hmmm – over an hour since check-in time and room not ready after 2 nudges from us? Hotel Monaco not quite doing 4 Diamonds today. #
- Plus, while I appreciate #EarthHour lights-out in lobby, not helpful if we are stuck here *waiting for our room.* #
- 90 min wait, but very nice room, hot, view of Denver rooftops. Mildly mollified by wine and massages in lobby, tho already relaxed … #
- Decided to forgo a movie and just hang out quietly together. Late dinner; plenty of time to just lounge and enjoy. And, occasionally tweet. #
- Hotel Monaco is pet friendly as well as luxurious. So is that strange sound next door a baby or a cat? #
- Caught up by #EarthHour again, this time at Vesta for dinner. Candle light dinners are somewhat overrated. #
- Vesta – fabulous food (almost so good as to make the excellent dipping sauces superfluous) but an ambience that's almost oppressively noisy. #

The hotel’s massage room is… the lobby???
No, as part of the evening’s wine hour in the lobby, a masseuse from the spa came out with her massage chair and gave quick 5 minute massages to anyone who asked. They also wheeled out a Wii for folks to play with (not at the same time).
