- So You Want To Be a Teabagger: Hiding Prejudice Behind Capitalism – I don’t agree with everything in this article, but it has enough truthy nuggets to be worth reading, and the final sentence is a classic: “We need to hold [the Tea Partiers] back or they will literally rewrite our history (and it’ll be rife with spelling errors).”
- Mumps – More on some antivax arguments. Far too many people expect medical science to be bullet-proof, iron-clad, 100% perfect solutions … and if they don’t find that to be the case, they reject it and look for something else that claims it is.

One of the Gawker finishers for the fly over sign they bought to fly over his wedded was “Four Weddings?!? Now you’re just showing off – the gays.” I wish it had been the winner.
