- Markos gets blacklisted from MSNBC because “Morning Joe” has a hissy fit – “Conservative pundits can say anything at all and are never held accountable for their actions. That’s a sad fact that we see over and over again.” That’s because Liberals (with some radical exceptions) are silly enough to believe in a marketplace of ideas and to deal with diversity of opinion. If you disagree with someone, the best thing to do is demonstrate, rhetorically, why they’re wrong and you’re right. When you are a One True Way sort of individual, though, like most command-and-control talking heads on the Right, disagreement isn’t disagreement, it’s both a sin and a personal attack, and so deserves whatever one might do to punish it.
