- FCC: court ruling makes indecency enforcement an “impossibility” – Or maybe we simply decide that people can be grown-up enough to deal with indecent speech on TV and radio, and respond to them by (if they so choose) choosing not to watch the show/channel again. Crudity and the like are social offenses, can should be dealt with through social means. If it’s not illegal to say on the street, why is it illegal to say on TV?
