I would be extremely surprised to find suicide bombers in heaven — but, then, the world and people surprise me all the time. I will leave it to God to judge each individual case, and focus on how I behave (and how I react to what I find monstrous evil) here on Earth.

If you choose to discriminate, then do it as a private entity without sucking the taxpayers (including those you are discriminating against) money. Seems pretty simple to me.
- Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen sues Apple, Google, Facebook, AOL, eBay, Netflix, Yahoo!, Staples, OfficeMax, Office Depot, and YouTube over patents – The fact that someone can sue over these broad categories of common practice indicates that the patent system — insofar as software is concerned — is seriously broken.

You’re raising a lister! Welcome to our ranks, Katherine!
My first list, I believe, was when I was about 10. As I watched each episode of Star Trek on KCOP 13 every day at 5:00, I would record stardates, crew members, planets, and such. Soon after, I started listing things in 007 movies (I still know the three license plates on the Aston Martin).
I am most enamored of chronologies. I have made chronologies for Spider-Man stories and book series such as Nero Wolfe, Kinsey Millhone, and Star Wars, updating them with every new entry (which may fit somewhere other than at the end).
Of course, as a birder, I kept a Life List (pretty sad–not even 300 species).
And when I started playing MMOs, Excel spreadsheets were sued to keep lists of everything: crafting recipes, travel routes, current equipment, monster weaknesses, you name it!
Other lists include the Ferengi Rules of Acquisitions and Dr. Strange’s incantations (not unlike Katherine’s list).

Seeing the fine job that others have done on chronologies (an erstwhile correspondent of mine, Marc Carlson, wrote up a detailed B5 chronology that was a foundation for the eventual book on the same that was published), I’ve never gotten as much into that bit. On the other hand, I’m devoted to reading book series in chronological order.

Oh, I meant to mention my latest list. I’m watching Mission: Impossible sand making a list of all the guest stars who also appeared on Star Trek. Joseph d’Agosta cast both shows, so there was much overlap.
Well, certainly with the same casting director plus the very close proximity time-wise plus both being Desilu / Paramount productions … yeah, not surprising.
