I usually have some art calendar or another up in my office each year. More often than not, it’s an Alphonse Mucha calendar. I truly love the Czech art nouveau artist, even if some of his work is so common as to be ubiquitous.
October brought two new lovelies:
On the left is “Clair de Lune (Moonlight),” and on the right is “L’Etoile du Soir (Evening Star),” both dating from 1902.
The colors do not do them justice. Gorgeous. And something to make me smile during the day.
