  1. Well, it was reading 21 degrees out and snowing here in Boulder when you took off, so probably a good idea if you the plane was going to be sitting around for any period of time.

    So, why was SNA so screwed up?

  2. Bad weather (up north?) delayed various flights. Since SNA closes promptly at 11 (can’t keep the Movers & Shakers in Newport up late at night, don’tchaknow?), that meant a number of flights cancelled, and a number of folks having to find transportation back home. The airport cops did an admirable job of keeping people moving from the actual pickup lanes, but the circuit around the airport was horribly snarled.
