My “Celebrating in Style” post has taken over my front page (if you go to Home, it pulls up that post instead). Let’s see if posting something else breaks that brokenness.
UPDATE: Evidently not. All references to https://hill-kleerup.org/blog/ (with or without index.html or index.php) are sent to https://hill-kleerup.org/blog/2010/12/23/celebrating-in-style.html instead. Can’t figure out why, though.
UPDATE: Okay, somehow the Redirection plug-in identified /blog/ as a modified post going to /blog/2010/12/23/celebrating-in-style … no idea why. I deleted the entry, and everything seems okay.

The only post that’s showing up for me is this one. It displays the comments panel as if I had clicked on the post rather than on the Home button. This happens in Chrome, FF, and IE. It looks as if any new post will commandeer the site.

Okay, so something’s broken. (And a bad day to spend not on the Internets, clearly.)
Oddly enough, the Twitter posts aren’t being affected, just stuff I manually post.
At least I know where to go to fix it (temporarily).
So the problem was evidently a known one in the Redirection plugin. This is a powerful plugin that lets you have WP pages redirect to other pages. Under some odd circumstances it seems to develop this very bug. I followed the instructions here to resolve it (by turning off one of the features). We’ll see if that helps.
