“Hazerai”? Googling… You’re moving a Chapel Hill rock band from room to room?

I think he means ‘hazarai.’
I googled that and was just as confused by the list of electronic gizmos for sound manipulation. One of them mentioned that “hazarai” is a Yiddish word referring to a “huge amount of features.” I couldn’t imagine Dave carrying piles of “features” around.
A search for “Hazarai” and “definition,” though, reveals that it means “junk food” or, more recently, “junk.” The Jewish Daily Forward was surprised that it has been applied to the sound effects thingummy.
