Links (most recent first) that caught my eye, but did not warrant full-blown blog entries ….
- Offensitivity – SMBC February 23, 2011 – Truth.
- Zits for 2/23/2011 – And, yes, I’ve seen (whisperdonewhisper) this behavior before, too.
- Zits for 2/22/2011 – Yeah, that’s about right …
- Fox Reverses Results Of Gallup Poll To Claim Americans Oppose Union Collective Bargaining Rights – “Needless to say, it is hardly ‘fair and balanced,’ as Fox News likes to deem itself, to take the results of a poll and simply reverse them when they do not go your way.” And not just have it as a “typo” on the screen, but to actually grill your guests based on the “error.”
- GA GOP Rep. Would Force Women To Prove Miscarriage Happened Naturally Or Face Felony Charges – It’s a logical extension of the fundamental anti-abortion position, I supposed. Wonder how the American people (or the citizens of Georgia) will like it.
- Boehner clearly didn’t think through his DOMA response – He thought it through. He just doesn’t think that anyone else will.
- Obama administration drops DOMA support – Good for them. This sort of action isn’t common for administrations, nor should it be. But it’s not unprecedented, and I applaud its use in this case.
- Prank call embarrasses Wisconsin’s Walker – Whoa. Yeah, this one’s worth reading. I don’t know that I applaud the tactics that obtained it, but what it obtained is pretty damned nasty — not embarrassing, but indicting.
- Molotov Mitchell Blames Obama for Christina Aguilera and Destroying America – Wonder who’s to blame for his ignorance of what the National Anthem is about?
- Arizona Weighs Even More Extreme Anti-Immigrant Bills – Stay classy, Arizona!
- Is Fox News the New CPAC? – So the only way Fox can be fair and balanced is if they get rid of all their gay employees and refuse to talk to any gays? Really? Homophobia runs deep …
- Bob Bowdon: Why Has Google Been Collecting Kids’ Social Security Numbers Under the Guise of an Art Contest? – Very … odd.
- Too much technology… – HA! I still want my flying car.

10. Hang on… If Arizona repeals birthright citizenship, won’t everybody in Arizona lose their citizenship? They haven’t done anything else to become citizens, have they? Could they even pass the test on U.S. history and government (or even reading and writing English)? This may actually be a good thing!
