- Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace coming in 3-D in February 2012! – For all the (deserved) mockery of the film, it will be interesting to see how Lucasfilm handles the conversion. I seriously doubt it will make the movie any better, but I would expect some groundbreaking conversion technology development.

1. I wish they were releasing Episode IV first. I worry that the prequels won’t do well enough for them to convert the original trilogy, which are the ones that really interest me (the asteroid field scene in Empire could be quite thrilling).
2. I first saw it spelled with a “Q,” decades ago, so that’s how I think of it.
1. I suspect the CGI files (and quality of the image already) for Ep I will make the conversion a lot easier.
