- It’s not just the iPhone, Android stores your location data too – Though the Android stores MUCH less data than the iPhone, nobody seems to have considered whether the Mothership (Apple, Google, whomever) that the phone is checking back with to check cellular/WiFi data, is keeping track of the data there, regardless of what’s stored/cleaned off the phone. If you want to be paranoid about it, that is.
