Links (most recent first) that caught my eye, but did not warrant full-blown blog entries ….
- The God who brought you out of Egypt – “I’m not eager to accuse an entire political party of being sociopaths, but what can one say when members of that party, unchallenged by their fellows, rush forward unprompted to declare themselves proud enemies of empathy and proud advocates of sociopathy? They’re accusing themselves of something truly appalling, should we take them at their word? Or should we patiently attempt to explain that this isn’t really something that anyone wants to say about themselves, even while they push an agenda increasingly demonstrating that maybe in their case it is?”
- Do Parents Cause Homosexuality? – Dr. Warren Throckmorton Christian Blog – Teh Gay! It’s not just sinful, it’s a result of bad parents! Be good, Biblical parents, and there won’t be any more Gay! Chuck Colson says so!
- The Electoral Effect of Sex Scandals – NYTimes.com – Answer: not much, unless candidates let it be a point. Which I have mixed feelings about.
- How to tell the Republican Party is not serious about fixing America’s problems – I’m by no means a unalloyed Gates fan, but he’s done a hell of a lot more to impress me over the past years than 99% of the GOP in DC.
- YouTube – The Super Chicken Cartoon Theme Song – Had to share this with Kay today …
- Jocelyn Fong: ExxonMobil Finds A Home At Fox News – I’ve always resisted labeling it “Faux News,” but, really — an exclusive launch partner for your iPad application is ExxonMobil, and yet you’re going to pretend to be “fair and balanced”? Pull the other one …

5. Did you sing along? (I assume you still know all the words.)

@Avo: Of course. It was a rendition in the car that made me think about checking out YouTube.
