I thought about sending you an IM when I saw Hutton in that episode, but it was after 2:00 AM where you were. I can’t recall the last time I laughed so hard. The costume was perfect!
😀
I had completely missed it until I was looking up some casting for the episode while watching it. Margie and I got a great guffaw from it.
Unfortunately, by that time a lot of the episode was passed, so I didn’t have a chance to go back and see how much he was acting like his father’s Ellery Queen.
Not at all, really. A couple of times I thought I detected (sorry) similarities, but that may have been a case of wishful thinking. But when he stepped out in that jacket and hat… Boy, did I lose it! I was expecting Archie Goodwin, and this bit of brilliance took me completely by surprise.
😀
Archie would have been brilliant, too.
I do wish they had done a bit more with it. I was hoping that near the end of the episode Nathan would turn to the camera and say, “Have you figured it out?”
