- Arizona to Charge for Prison Visits – This is appalling. Absolutely appalling. It makes zero sense from a pragmatic prisoner management sense (prison visits are a major part of both rehabilitation and incentives to behave between times) and, for these pols on the Right who claim to be such fine, upstanding, holy Christians, it flies directly in the face of Jesus’ encouragement of people to visit prisoners and comfort them. Utterly insane and cruel.
