One of the purposes of a cat is to wake you up at 5 am. It’s a Mission In Life. Every morning at about that time Paddy and I have a little conversation. On my part it goes something like “Paddy, get out of the garbage!”…”Paddy, quit playing in the recycling bag!”… “Paddy, I’m too tired to pet you at this hour!”
Fortunately, Rocky was distracted when Missions In Life were being passed out, and he snoozes at my feet at 5 am.
