- Colorado gay elite stumping against openly gay soldier – The Denver Post – Actually, this is a cool thing. Because it means that the “issue” has succeeded enough to mean that a gay man can run against someone who has a progessive, pro-gay reputation, and have it be about things other than sexual orientation. It means homosexuality beginning to become normalized in a very important way, and I think that’s a good thing.
