They should bring back Cucumber Spread…..sounds like an interesting condiment….
If that woman and Edna, both of whom lived through the Depression *and* WWII, ever shared a kitchen, one of them might end up dead. Edna is a big stickler for getting rid of stuff she thinks is too old to eat.
On the other hand, my mom had her few herbs & spices, before her stroke, that were flavorless because some were over 10 yrs old. My foodie sister Carol had fits.
