Everyone pretty much figures that the Nine Circuit will uphold the strike-down of Prop 8 in California, even with the proposition's supports granted standing by the California Supreme Court; the Ninth Circuit might not go along with that standing (Federal rules are more strict), but either way, it go to the US Supreme Court.
How will it go there? As the article notes, based on previous rulings, they should agree to strike it down. But given this particular court, I wouldn't lay money one way or the other. Sadly. #ddtb
