Yes, marriage equality is all a great conspiracy … but not by all those gay men you see marching around out there in their leather and rainbow flags, but by the National Organization of Women who will establish "feminist marriages" where women will marry each other for tax breaks while having kids and demanding child support from their baby-daddies.
It's all a financial scam, see? Plus, it's unconstitutional, because the government is conspiring with them which makes it polygamy which is unconstitutional. And my head is exploding, right? Right? #ddtb

New Anti-Gay Group Calls Marriage Equality Unconstitutional, Discriminatory
David Usher, president of the Center for Marriage Policy, a right-wing group founded last month with the blessing of Phyllis Schlafly, argues in a column yesterday that marriage equality is unconstitutional because same-sex marriage is tantamount to polygamy, with the third partner being the government. He argues that the National Organization for Women is trying to use marriage equality to “to convert marriage into a feminist-controlled government enterprise and subordinate the rest of Ameri…
Haven’t read the article yet, but is’t het marriage ALSO a three-some (at the very least)?
@Marina – re “three-way” – Supported by the government, approved by the church, backed by history — sounds positively orgiastic!
That last paragraph was priceless! They need to hear that classic phrase, “I don’t think that word means what you think it does”.
As usual, it’s discriminatory because it isn’t what they want.
@Marina – It isn’t discriminatory if it’s natural! Right? Right?
Response to #3: could be rather messy, all those participants….
Response to #4: Some folk are trying to “cure” “gay” penguins. I wonder what they will do about other animals who are naturally gay–prove to me they make a choice, ha!
The only thing I will correct is the “gay penguin” story. The efforts in Toronto are not to “cure” them, but to encourage them to breed (without artificial insemination) with some female penguins, as part of standard zoo breeding / genetic diversity programs.
It’s not the zoo folk who want to label their sexuality, so much as it’s uninformed nudniks who are doing that–I actually did read the penguin story. What gets me is the folks who say gay/lesbian sex is not “natural” haven’t been paying attention to the animals who do have such bonds.
BTW, is it bestiality if two different species of non-human mammals have sex? Inquiring minds, and all that.
@Marina, the issue of “sexuality” and “natural” is almost impossible to treat in a rational manner among contemporary humans, let alone applying it to past societies, let alone applying it to non-humans.
In answer to your inquiring question, though, I suspect the answer would be “no” (the definition not being two different species, but one participant being human and the other(s) not).
