It's like the Trojan Horse meets The Wickerman meets Reality TV.
(Okay, Margie — we can go to Sweden if we can see the Giant Christmas Goat.) #ddtb

Swedish town erects giant Christmas goat – The Local
Advent Sunday means it is time for the inauguration of the famous 13 metre tall Christmas goat (Gävlebocken) in the main square of Gävle, on the east coast of Sweden.

Why isn’t it a giant Swedish horse?
The Swedes are into their goats as a winter decoration.
My parents were given a Christmas goat made of straw by Scandinavian friends. The goat was about a foot and a half long, and cunningly made. Alas, it wasn’t one of the things Dad chose to keep when he came to live with my husband and me, about 20 months before his death.
@Karen, we have some straw goats from Margie’s Swedish side of the family.
I’m also reminded (by something I was just reading) that Thor had goats pulling his chariot. Goats are/were much more common (and useful) in Scandinavia than, I suspect, horses.
