Scooby-Doo and Skepticism

Very cool article below on how Scooby-Doo (in most of its incarnations over the decades) has taught a powerful lesson about skepticism and rejection of knee-jerk fear and superstition. And why (and here I fully agree) it never quite works in those few versions of the show where the supernatural is real, and not some cranky or money-grubbing farmer with a rubber mask.

(Also, I echo his appreciation for Mystery, Inc. — very fun show, and fairly sophisticated for Scooby-Doo.) #ddtb
