Very cool article below on how Scooby-Doo (in most of its incarnations over the decades) has taught a powerful lesson about skepticism and rejection of knee-jerk fear and superstition. And why (and here I fully agree) it never quite works in those few versions of the show where the supernatural is real, and not some cranky or money-grubbing farmer with a rubber mask.
