I suppose the women are largely sequestered, or that no one permitted their photograph being taken. One might think there were no women there at all.

It’s hard to tell with a relatively limited sample. I expect it was mostly a matter of it not being considered proper to photograph them. Alternately, folks taking the tourist photos might have thought the men were more photo-worthy.

The AP headline's headline should read (since it's largely what's in the story):

"California mail voting rules worked, 150K ballots rejected"

Trump objections have always been "votes come in late and still count, anyone can send in a ballot" etc. The article makes it clear California is preventing that, despite the headline.

I am not a fancy-talking diplomat or politician, but this sure looks like a shake-down to me -- basically, charging all shipping through the Strait of Hormuz a 20% tariff to pay for the costs of keeping the Strait open which were largely necessitated by Trump's actions in the first place.

A good friend of mine spent several patient minutes explaining, procedurally, how Trump's call could have had no effect on the re-evaluation of #Balogun's red card.

Even granting that, the stench of corruption around both #Trump and #FIFA make even ultimately disproven accusations seem credible.

Ironically, the best thing that happened to the US #Soccer Team was losing the Belgium, as any overall wins would have been tainted by Trump's inappropriate actions.
