I can't think of any picture, phrase, meme, or bit of artistic wittiness that I would assume I'd like in five, ten, twenty years from now. The idea that I'd get a bad tattoo artist — see below — makes it even less likely.
Never mind about the whole phobia about needles …
That said, I've seen some gorgeous tattoos. I just don't imagine myself permanently accessorizing myself with anything. #ddtb

34 Bad Tattoos: The Awful, The Weird, and The Misspelled
[ By Marc in Gadgets & Geek Art & Graffiti & Drawing. ]
In carpentry they say to measure twice and cut once. In tattooing it’s “choose your tattoo artist carefully, and bring a dictionary.” These mistakes will haunt their owners, and everyone who has to look at them, for a lifetime.

Portraits are difficult no matter what medium one is working with. This is why it’s very important …

I have a few tatts…They were thought out carefully over years and mean something to me even if they just seem like pictures to someone else…however I do have a friend that just goes and gets tattoos and she has a couple of BAD ones… for some reason she got one of her friend's name on the inside of her forearm (no, it isn't a memorial, he is still alive) and it is crooked as all get-out and weirdly spaced. If you are going to get a tattoo you really need to just save the $$ and pay for a GOOD artist since not all can be re-done/covered up/taken off.
