It's driving independent / centrist women over to supporting Obama.
It is, of course, still early days in the presidential campaign, but, really — social conservatives were already going to be voting GOP (even with their noses pinched if it's Romney). With the electorate so evenly split the last couple of elections, the middle ground is where things will be decided. And the attacks on abortion, women's health, and, now, contraceptives are not helping the GOP there.
Which I suppose I should be pleased about, but, damn, I'd love to have an intelligent, adult debate between the two parties. #ddtb

Pretty telling information on the massive backfire the GOP is seeing on their pushes against contraception and abortion — Romney's support has literally imploded — he has lost a 19 point swing and President Obama leads with unmarried women by a advantage of 65-30. Very bad news for Republicans — especially since many of these women are younger and will be voting for a very long time into the future.
