Given that we've bought quite a bit from TGI over the years, I'm sorry to see them go. But the writing has been on the wall for quite some time — selection and stock becoming more limited, etc. I believe our BBQ, our new bathroom vanity, and our plates all came from there.
Of course, that probably makes now a good time to be eyeballing some of the stuff there that we've been thinking of getting someday, only at a liquidation discount.
More of a problem is that it opens up another big retail hole in the Park Meadows area. It's a very prominent location, but it's also 150K sq ft. That's even a bit large for a Halloween superstore … #ddtb
