Yet another foreign-policy dolt running for the GOP nomination

And, apparently, winning.

So let me get this straight: right now, probably the most important (certainly the most talked-about) foreign policy challenge for the United States is what to do about Iran. You would think, you would hope, that the leading contender for the nomination would be so fully briefed on the matter that he keeps inadvertently slipping into Farsi when he gets up to talk.

And yet here's Mitt making silly geographical gaffes, mouthing talking points, and invoking St Ronald of Blessed Memory as the model for his Iranian policy (this would be the St Ronald that "October Surprise" negotiated with them over the hostage crisis, sold weapons to the, to illicitly fund the Contras, and who then backed Saddam Hussein in his war on the regime). Does Mitt actually know what that means?

And does he really think that makes him look presidential? #ddtb
