Well, that may be an exageration but, really, there's a reason massive number of people run Flashblock on Chrome and Firefox alike. Not only does Flash chew up resources, slow down pages, and open up security issues, but it's more of often than not simply annoying to have Flash stuff showing up on the page and autorunning. #ddtb

Firefox is testing out a new feature that would allow users to block and then selectively permit Flash plugins.
I’d like that–just the way I wish YouTube videos HAD to be started manually, as well as the too-loud & unwanted music some sites stick you with. Opt in is the way to go–Opt-Out is broken.
