Moto RAZR MAXX getting Android update — but not Ice Cream Sandwich (yet)
Vaguely frustrated, even though my phone is working perfectly well with Gingerbread. BUT I WANT THE NEW SHINY!!!!

Speaking of the new shiny and Android, I recently updated my Slacker client and …. big time headaches. Locks the OS at times and no longer can launch from the screen widget. About the only thing I like about it is that when it is finally playing, the screen widget actually shows the pause, play, skip and like commands for the given track. To get it to work at all I had roll back the upgrade, then uninstall the app totally, then install the base app and finally install the upgrade. Testing on a variety of platforms was obviously not part of their approval process.
Ugh.
