Bad, bad, superhero redesigns

The new, mystery GL design isn't awful (comparatively speaking), although it's conceptually dubious.  But some of the costumes here (Fate, Alan Scott) are, yes, truly appallingly bad.

  1. I wouldn't say the GL costume is worse than the others, but it's still pretty bad.

    The thing I don't get, though, is how powerful is that ordinary looking handgun if he's leading with that and the power ring is his back up?? lol

  2. That seems to be the big question. Is it a "normal" gun that he's holding onto out of sentimentality or psychosis?  Is it a ring manifestation (or perhaps a prop to use the ring through)?  Is it just "Whoa, let's make some guy look like a bad-ass with the gun, even if he's a GL"?

    I guess we'll find out.

  3. I kinda dig the costume. My only issue is the gun. The worst costume had to be Blue and Red Electro-Superman. I think LSD was handed out the day DC editors came up with THAT dumb idea.
