The ratio isn't a bad one. I have 417 (!) followers (circlers?) here on Google Plus. That would mean 36 occasional plussers/commenters, and 4 active correspondents. And depending on how you gauge "active" vs "occasional" that's arguably what I see.
Which is fine — I'd always like to have more folks chit-chatting, and hear more from the occasional follower, but I value the ones who do engage. Anyone who feels like piping up, always welcome to do so.
(It's possible, of course, that some of those numbers are inflated by abandoned / unwatched accounts. Still …)

The stats sound about right to me too, and as a % it works well. Though as you get to the size of scoble, you start getting the noise posters too… those who post nonsense responses just trying to get the hangers on to follow them too 🙂
