The story is infuriating. The updates at the end give me some hope for humanity.

The council gave in and let her continue, due most likely to public preasure.
@BD – Hence the “happy ending” and the updates I mention at the bottom of the story.
That Martha is a great example of one small voice changing a mountain, to mix metaphors.
Then there was the article about 8 yr old students publishing a scientific research article on bee perceptions wrt finding food.
I am in awe.
