I have no idea what physical state the #KennedyCenter was in prior to #Trump deciding to indulge his Inner Design Consultant, and, given how maintenance works, it's altogether likely that someone actually did need to drop a big chunk of change on fixing actual problems.

But ... like everything else from the man, he is throwing money at the problem in the worst, gaudiest, and most self-aggrandizing fashion.
